Great stay!
We arrived approximately 8:30pm to find the heater was on for us so we came into a warm room as it is winter & freezing outside. Oh my what an amazing extra touch that was. Then about to get in bed and find there was an electric blanket also on for us!! I was over excited with this as I am a cold frog haha. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The owners were lovely & friendly. I will definitely recommend and stay again if I’m am traveling this way. 5/5!

Central location had everything you could need for a very relaxing stay
Central location, on-site parking, extremely comfortable beds, onsite breakfast available, swimming pool for warmer months this place was perfect for our visit
We have family in area that we can no longer stay with and we’re so happy with our 4 night stay here it will be our go to moving forward.

Great Place To Stay, Would Highly Recommend
We could not fault our stay here at all. Our room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay, including a swimming pool which was a real benefit. The two managers were nothing but accommodating and were really friendly and approachable. The Motel was only just minutes away from Western Plains Zoo and other tourist attractions nearby. Would highly recommend staying here if you are passing through.

Great choice for accommodation in Dubbo.
I have stayed here a number of times over a few years and I have always been satisfied. On my most recent visit, the room was clean and comfortable. Airconditioning and hotwater are important to me and both were excellent. The location is convenient. I intend to stay here again next time I am in Dubbo.

Excellent we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
I booked online and everything worked out perfectly the room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and efficient it is located walking distance from the Main Street and Dubbo is a beautiful well maintained town with plenty of variety of activities and places to eat.

We have stayed here a few times. The staff are so friendly, nothing is too much, they are attentive and sort everything fast and with a smile.
Rooms are clean, air con works perfectly, pool is clean, ev car charger a big bonus too.

A very satisfied return traveller
We have stayed here on a number of occasions because it is in a great location. We always choose a room out the back as they are larger and quieter.
Prices are also much better than most other motels in Dubbo.

Great location, comfortable and awesome value
The pillows were to die for and bed was more than comfortable!! Stayed in a twin room, was small but suitable and had all the amenities we needed for our one night stay. Great value for money. Great location. Amazing service and customer care.

AirCon to die for in 40deg heat
Great location, just a short walk to the centre of town & Dubbo RSL. Brilliant air conditioning, quiet, perfect temperature made for a good sleep after & before a long Sydney drive. Everything is clean & almost new. Loved the fact the Shampoo, Conditioner’k Body Wash dispensers had BIG labels. Didn’t need my glasses to see what I was using! Staff were friendly & welcoming. On top of all that, excellent value, a great price. I’ll be waltzing into Matilda next time I’m n iDubbo 5/5.

It was exactly what we wanted on our roadtrip.
We were on a roadtrip through NSW and looking for a good inexpensive overnight stop in Dubbo. Matilda Motel was everything we needed. Easy booking. Excellent price. Friendly welcome. Clean room and ensuite. Comfortable bed. Close to shops. Perfect for what we wanted.

Great accommodation for business trip
Great location. I was allocated one of the rooms at the back, that was quiet and perfect for a business trip. The room was spacious and fully equipped. Smooth and easy check in/check out. Will definitely recommend and will be back again.

I had read reviews and this motel
it had the best comments on the water pressure in the shower ! Was great as it was true ! I also loved the electric blankets as July was cold so thought that was perfect ! Communication was exceptional as we were running late
And they wanted to make sure I knew the codes in the safe for our late arrival- I had gotten a email regarding the info but the phone call to confirm

The room was very nice, with lounge and small kitchenette area. I love the water pressure for the shower. There is a restaurant on site that made the first night, after a long drive, very easy. Staff very friendly.

Excellent Family accommodation
We stayed with our very large family in the 4 bedroom cottage . The accommodation was awesome very clean and so comfortable. So much room for everyone. The bedrooms were very large . The lady at reception was lovely. Made us feel very welcome. It was way better than what we expected. We will definitely be staying again and recommending it to family and friends.

"Excellent service"
The room was very comfortable, spa was excellent and kitchen utensils very helpful. Staff were lovely and very accomodating. It was very easy to walk to shops and drive to zoo. Had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. We will be back

Clean tidy, friendly and close to town centre
Clean, quiet, comfortable, very friendly staff, easy to check on, receptionist was lovely and helpful, booked me a taxi for early the next morning which arrived on time, close to town centre and food shops, lots of parking, has an outside swimming pool, would stay again for sure

I had a very nice & very clean room. Easy walk to CBD. My luggage was minded which was a great help, until it suited me that day to collect it.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is close to many amenities.

"Great Location, easy access to a range of restaurants, was very clean and cosy"
We were a large group and we fit in extremely well in the executive large room with 4 bedrooms. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean and the shower was nice and hot. The lady and gentleman at the Reception were very warm and friendly to interact with. Gave us apt information and were patient with our endless questions. Had a fantastic time and will definitely return to the same place.

"The best place to stay in Dubbo"
We stayed at the Matilda Motor Inn in August with my family of 4. The kids loved the pool and the close proximity to the shops. My wife and i loved the exceptional food at the restaurant, and the nice glass on Pinot Noir after a fun day at the Zoo.

Thanks to the friendly Matilda Motor Inn team for making our trip to Dubbo a sensation. We enjoyed a King Room which was spacious & very clean. Our 2 onsite meals were well price, fast to come our & super yummy. Great Covid practices on display. Absolutely our top choice for Dubbo after trying a few different motels over the last 2 years.

"Family holiday"
Great place to stay for a large family of 5. Rooms clean and today. Kids loved Tilly’s restaurant top quality food. Close walk to town. Visited all the tourist sites Wellington caves and Western plains zoo. Our second stay, every bit as wonderful as our first stay.

Fabulous
Had a Fabulous experience mangers were friendly and very helpful. Motel was very clean and I would highly recommends his motel. Great location and rooms are very well priced. Would definitely stay here again.

"Best sleep ever"
We had 2 nights here and had to cancel our third early, due to an accident involving a family member in Sydney.
Management was first class making the cancellation and refund a pleasant experience.
We stayed in an Executive Room (Out the back away from all noise etc) in a huge room with a King Bed which was super comfy.
All night long it was really quiet, allowing an undisturbed sleep as all walls are brick.
There are security screens on the kitchen and bathroom windows and the carpark has steel security gates which are locked at night but accessible with your card.
The restaurant served great meals (Not open weekends strangely) and Ben was a fantastic waiter.
If we are visiting Dubbo again, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our family stayed in the 4 Bedroom Cottage with 3 families and 2 babies, and it was wonderful. Spacious, clean, warm. Comfortable beds. All good. Sleeps about 8-10. Great place.
