Great accommodation for business trip
Great location. I was allocated one of the rooms at the back, that was quiet and perfect for a business trip. The room was spacious and fully equipped. Smooth and easy check in/check out. Will definitely recommend and will be back again.

I had read reviews and this motel
it had the best comments on the water pressure in the shower ! Was great as it was true ! I also loved the electric blankets as July was cold so thought that was perfect ! Communication was exceptional as we were running late
And they wanted to make sure I knew the codes in the safe for our late arrival- I had gotten a email regarding the info but the phone call to confirm

The room was very nice, with lounge and small kitchenette area. I love the water pressure for the shower. There is a restaurant on site that made the first night, after a long drive, very easy. Staff very friendly.

Excellent Family accommodation
We stayed with our very large family in the 4 bedroom cottage . The accommodation was awesome very clean and so comfortable. So much room for everyone. The bedrooms were very large . The lady at reception was lovely. Made us feel very welcome. It was way better than what we expected. We will definitely be staying again and recommending it to family and friends.

Lovely staff, comfortable beds, easy parking and minimal traffic noise during the night. Rooms are very spacious and equipped with all you could need for a few nights away. Will definitely stay again.

"Excellent service"
The room was very comfortable, spa was excellent and kitchen utensils very helpful. Staff were lovely and very accomodating. It was very easy to walk to shops and drive to zoo. Had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. We will be back

Clean tidy, friendly and close to town centre
Clean, quiet, comfortable, very friendly staff, easy to check on, receptionist was lovely and helpful, booked me a taxi for early the next morning which arrived on time, close to town centre and food shops, lots of parking, has an outside swimming pool, would stay again for sure

"I was made to feel very welcome. The meals were lovely. Very good service."
I had a very nice & very clean room. Easy walk to CBD. My luggage was minded which was a great help, until it suited me that day to collect it.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is close to many amenities.

"Great Location, easy access to a range of restaurants, was very clean and cosy"
We were a large group and we fit in extremely well in the executive large room with 4 bedrooms. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean and the shower was nice and hot. The lady and gentleman at the Reception were very warm and friendly to interact with. Gave us apt information and were patient with our endless questions. Had a fantastic time and will definitely return to the same place.

"The best place to stay in Dubbo"
We stayed at the Matilda Motor Inn in August with my family of 4. The kids loved the pool and the close proximity to the shops. My wife and i loved the exceptional food at the restaurant, and the nice glass on Pinot Noir after a fun day at the Zoo.
The managers were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back"

"Wonderful motel, restaurant & staff"
Thanks to the friendly Matilda Motor Inn team for making our trip to Dubbo a sensation. We enjoyed a King Room which was spacious & very clean. Our 2 onsite meals were well price, fast to come our & super yummy. Great Covid practices on display. Absolutely our top choice for Dubbo after trying a few different motels over the last 2 years.

"Family holiday"
Great place to stay for a large family of 5. Rooms clean and today. Kids loved Tilly’s restaurant top quality food. Close walk to town. Visited all the tourist sites Wellington caves and Western plains zoo. Our second stay, every bit as wonderful as our first stay.

Fabulous
Had a Fabulous experience mangers were friendly and very helpful. Motel was very clean and I would highly recommends his motel. Great location and rooms are very well priced. Would definitely stay here again.

"Great accommodation and restaurant"
Stayed overnight recently. Rooms clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking for larger vehicles. Restaurant was an added bonus. Food and service were excellent. Booking was easy, great prices and location.

"Second Home"
I've stayed here many times but I have to put finger to keyboard. The staff are the heart & soul of this motel. Under the new & experienced manager Diane my latest 3 night stay with my autistic brother was seamless. Diane , Ben & the exceptional girls were always aware of our special needs & did everything from a quick chat in the morning to "can I get you extra towels " every day. Thank you and I'll see you all in December.

"Comfortable Stay and Delicious Cooked Breakfast."
We recently stayed at the Matilda Motor Inn the night before and the night after a coach trip to the Edinburgh Tattoo in Sydney. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were unable to order a cooked breakfast for the Saturday morning (They only supply a Continental Breakfast on weekends) but the cooked breakfast on Monday was delicious.

"Best sleep ever"
We had 2 nights here and had to cancel our third early, due to an accident involving a family member in Sydney.
Management was first class making the cancellation and refund a pleasant experience.
We stayed in an Executive Room (Out the back away from all noise etc) in a huge room with a King Bed which was super comfy.
All night long it was really quiet, allowing an undisturbed sleep as all walls are brick.
There are security screens on the kitchen and bathroom windows and the carpark has steel security gates which are locked at night but accessible with your card.
The restaurant served great meals (Not open weekends strangely) and Ben was a fantastic waiter.
If we are visiting Dubbo again, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Lovely clean motel"
Quiet, clean and lovely motel. Room was lovely, food at the restaurant was delicious after a long drive. Towels clean and fresh provided, staff helpful and accommodating. Didn’t use the pool but it was clean and appealing.

"Stopover"
This Motel was adequate and very clean, several food eateries close-by and there was a shopping mall a few blocks away. The rooms were very small and also the bathroom so it would definitely be a problem if you liked space, but then I guess you would have to upgrade.

"Another fabulous stay"
This is my second stay and once again it was great. The service from the staff on checking in (including late check-in arrangements). The rooms are extremely clean, the bed super comfy and parking right outside your door. Couldn't ask for more. Walking distance to the RSL (6 minutes) and other dining options close by. Thank you again for a fabulous stay. I'll be back again.

"Very excellent place to stay."
This was a very excellent place to stay after our trip to the Zoo and also Burrendong Dam. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were very good and surrounded the swimming pool, all ground floor units. The dinner was a buffet with plenty of food to choose from as was the breakfast next morning. There was also a bar where you could order drinks.

"Reasonable price, clean and friendly"
Recently stayed for two nights in twin single. At $127 a night over weekend this was $50 cheaper than other nearby hotels. Rooms were clean with all amenities required including microwave. Loved the fresh milk supplied and friendly staff! Free efficient wifi also!

I have stayed previously at The Matilda for both business & leisure. Always very easy to book, with friendly staff. The Motel site is very clean (even has windscreen cleaning buckets conveniently placed) The rooms are very clean, comfortable & well equipped. The well displayed LOW noise policy makes is nice & quiet. Roomservice meal was very good,punctual & fresh. Overall great value for money.

We had comfortable, firm, warm beds. The heating system worked well on a cold night. the room was well-equipped with kettle, toaster microwave and fridge, as well as crockery and cutlery to allow some basic self-catering. It has a restaurant, but we went out to a local pub instead, so can't comment on it.

Our family stayed in the 4 Bedroom Cottage with 3 families and 2 babies, and it was wonderful. Spacious, clean, warm. Comfortable beds. All good. Sleeps about 8-10. Great place.

"Re-Visit"
Some changes here since a year ago. A great stopover place enroute either east or west. Staff were friendly. WE rented a cabin this time, at the rear of the complex. It had a good sized king bed and a made up sofa bed, so plenty of space. The cabin also contains a kitchenette and a good sized bathroom. The A/C was quiet and effective, especially given the 40+ degree temperatures being experienced in the region at present. The large pool, partially shaded, was a welcome relief at the end of a hot day. We were happy to come back.

"Friendly staff, clean, easy parking"
Quiet room away from road but the road is fairly quite anyway. We were towing a trailer and were able to drive in, parking in a double bay and drive out; not backing or difficult manoeuvring required. Range of breakfast options. Friendly, helpful staff when booking by phone and upon arrival/departure. Walking distance to a range of food options.

Friendly service and decent, clean rooms with strong hot shower. Convenient location and easy parking. Central pool is nice and well maintained, and there is an attached restaurant / bar if you don't feel like going anywhere. As above, recommended.

"Dinner for two"
Went in for a special dinner and was quite happy with the friendly staff and the food was very nice indeed. The entree was destroyed in no time at all, the mains were just as good. We will be heading back for a dinner again soon.

"Repeat Guest"
Stayed here earlier in 2018 & more than happy to return. Stayed in a Standard Room which more than suits my needs. Perfectly clean and spacious. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Unfortunately the chef is enjoying a brief, well deserved, holiday so I don't get to enjoy his perfectly cooked steak :( Will be passing through Dubbo again in 5 weeks so looking forward to my steak then :)
